Playa Rolfing® and Body Therapies

In Collaboration with Playa Physical Therapy

At Playa Rolfing and Body Therapies, we offer fascia-focused bodywork, therapeutic massage, and movement therapies tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Every session is customized—there is no one-size-fits-all formula here. We take the time to understand your structure, your goals, and your history, and we design treatments that meet you where you are.

Located within Playa Physical Therapy, we are proud to be an independent wellness provider working in active partnership with physical therapists. But our collaboration extends beyond that—we regularly coordinate with chiropractors, acupuncturists, personal trainers, functional medicine doctors, and your existing wellness team. Whether you begin with us or are referred from another practitioner, we bring your care into focus with a whole-person lens.

This collaborative, client-centered model ensures that whether you’re recovering from injury, managing chronic tension, or working to improve movement and alignment, your treatment is strategic, seamless, and deeply supportive. We are not a spa. This is therapeutic, intentional bodywork that prioritizes function, integration, and lasting change.

About Us / Philosophy

Playa Rolfing and Body Therapies is not a spa—and that’s intentional. We operate within a clinical and wellness-focused environment, designed to offer real, lasting results through therapeutic bodywork. Every practitioner in our space is highly trained in their specific modality and works independently with their clients, allowing for deeper personalization and continuity of care.

Unlike many spa settings, where treatments may feel generalized and therapists rotate, our team includes specialists in fascia therapy, structural integration, advanced massage, craniosacral, TECAR therapy, and more. Each session is customized based on your unique structure, goals, and health history.

We believe that therapeutic bodywork is an essential part of the wellness ecosystem. It complements mental health, physical rehab, fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle interventions. Whether you’re coming in for support with an injury, performance recovery, posture improvement, or overall vitality, we aim to meet you where you are and help you move forward with purpose.

Our Services

Why We Use Rolfing® Structural Integration

At the heart of everything we do is the framework of Rolfing® Structural Integration—a whole-body approach that sees the body as an interconnected ecosystem rather than a collection of isolated parts. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation or focusing on one system at a time, we consider how posture, movement, and tension patterns influence—and are influenced by—every part of your structure.

This method allows us to address the root of imbalances, not just the symptoms. One of the challenges with reductionist models of care is that if your issue doesn’t fall neatly into a specific category or protocol, it’s often dismissed or passed off.

Rolfing SI offers a broader, integrative lens—allowing us to identify and work with the relationships between systems: muscular, fascial, skeletal, and nervous.

By using this model as our foundation, we can create truly customized, intelligent treatment plans that evolve with you and support long-term change—not just short-term relief.

Why Touch-Based Therapies Matter

We believe body-based treatments are essential to any comprehensive wellness approach. The body holds answers your mind may not yet know—stored tension, old patterns, unprocessed experiences, and signals waiting to be heard.

Whether you’re seeking improved general health, vitality, and longevity—or recovering from injury, illness, or surgery—working with the body through intentional, therapeutic touch is often the missing link. It allows all of your wellness efforts—mental, emotional, nutritional, rehabilitative—to come together and integrate at the level where true, lasting change happens: in your structure and your nervous system.

At Playa Rolfing and Body Therapies, we use touch as a vehicle for awareness, transformation, and connection—helping you bridge the gap between healing and wholeness.

A Treatment Arc with a Purpose: Beginning, Middle, and End

While we love building long-term relationships with our clients, we believe the ultimate goal of bodywork is not dependency—it’s empowerment. Our approach follows a thoughtful arc: a beginning, a middle, and an end.

Many clients begin with weekly or biweekly sessions to address chronic issues, postural patterns, or injury recovery. As progress builds, we shift focus toward integration—helping you understand your own structure, movement, and how to care for your body between sessions.

Eventually, our goal is to say goodbye—not because you’re no longer welcome, but because you’ve gained the tools, awareness, and support strategies to maintain your wellness independently or through other collaborative providers.

Our treatments are designed to create lasting change, and we’re here to guide you through the full arc—from healing to independence.
