Aaron Willis, DPT, ATC, Owner

Aaron Willis graduated from the University of California, Davis in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science, with an emphasis in biomechanics. Aaron also worked as an athletic trainer at Davis and was certified in 1996. In 2000, Aaron completed the doctorate program in physical therapy at the University of Southern California.

Audrey Chernofsky, PT

Audrey Chernofsky PT is a graduate from N.Y.U. with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with over 25 years of experience. In 1981 she moved to Los Angeles and began working at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and then St. Johns Hospital and Health Center. Physical therapy there included neuro rehabilitation, outpatient, spinal cord injury, amputees and aquatic therapy. Over the years she has worked in home health, SNF, acute care, outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine facilities.

From 1992 -1998 Audrey worked at the Osteoporosis Center in Santa Monica as a staff therapist. Osteoball instructor lecturer, and in program development. She worked on the post TKA, post THA and amputee osteoball exercise program. Currently she is collaborating with the Center on a fitness program for Breast Cancer Survivors.

In 2009 Audrey joined Playa Physical Therapy. She became certified by the Pink Ribbon Program in Post Rehab Breast Cancer Specialist, by Retrofit Pilates in Pilates Rehab, and by Core Training Systems in The Functional Movement Screen. Besides treating clients, Audrey teaches group osteoball, tai chi, and balance classes. She is an exercise instructor at the Wellness community and is a consultant to fitness trainers.
